ADVENTURE CAVING & TREKKING

One of the beauties of Gopeng is the 2 ranges of limestone hills. apart from the tropical rainforest that envelopes Gopeng, these 2 limestone range dominates the landscape and the local culture.  it has been a part of the lives of the people here.  We run some commercial trips to these caves mainly

  • Gua Tempurong that boasts huge chambers and beautiful formations.  It is one of the most beautiful caves in Malaysia.  Estimated age around 200-300 million years old.

  • Gua Kandu which is much smaller but has many multi level passages and chambers.  It has been used as shelter and a hideout  during World War 2 and during the the Communist Emergency

We also visit some other caves but we are keeping it low profile as not to increase traffic to these sensitive caves.  Do contact us if you are interested.
